About the project
Hearken’s consulting and technology help companies and organizations engage their audience and their community. A zebra company, Hearken was founded on the belief and recognition that curiosity and listening are the foundation of better business — specifically, that deeper relationships with audiences lead to groundbreaking insights, and that this can effectively serve as an engine for good in the world.
Hearken articulates the business case for engagement while also providing tools and building enthusiasm and buy-in for the heart of the work: work, importantly, done for the greater good. Hearken’s reach stretches across media, higher education and public government. Hearken helps these clients implement processes and technology to engage their community and audience. In turn, we help them to do just that. First, we moved the company’s infrastructure (EMS) to EU servers (Including dockerized deployment on AWS and a Mandrill account migration of the company’s EU email); then, in collaboration with Hearken’s US team, we continue to help them bring the app closer to EU customers in terms of infrastructure, user experience and GDPR compliance.
