Privacy Policy

Clearview Studios LLC (“Clearview,” “we,” “us”) operates the marketing website at clearview.team. This page explains what personal information we collect through that website, how we use it, and who else sees it. We’ve kept it short on purpose.
This policy covers only the clearview.team marketing site. Engagements with clients are governed by the contracts and data processing terms we sign with each client; this page does not describe those.
What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run a marketing site and respond to inquiries.
- Contact form submissions. When you send us a message through the “Drop us a message” form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records request metadata such as IP address, user-agent, referrer, and timestamp for each page view. We use this only for site reliability and security; we do not build user profiles from it.
- Cookies and similar tracking. Clearview does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not use ad-tech pixels. Your browser may cache static assets and the site’s service worker locally so the site loads faster on return visits; nothing about that caching is shared with us.
How we use it
- To reply to messages you send us and to discuss potential work.
- To keep the site available, secure, and free of abuse.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to send marketing emails to people who have not asked to hear from us.
Who else sees it
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the site:
- Netlify, Inc. — hosts the site, serves it over its CDN (which is what produces the server-log metadata above), and receives contact-form submissions on our behalf before forwarding them to our team email.
- Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google’s font CDN; Google therefore sees the IP address and user-agent of your browser when those font files load.
- rss2json.com. The “Latest Articles” section on the homepage pulls our public Medium feed through this service. Your browser contacts rss2json directly when that section renders.
Beyond those providers, we may disclose information when we are required to by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clearview, our team, or others.
Where your data lives
Clearview is a distributed company with team members based around the world, and our service providers operate globally. By using the site or contacting us, you understand that the limited information described above may be processed in jurisdictions outside the one you live in.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you have shared with us — in practice, the contents of any contact-form message you sent. Email info@clearview.team and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you’re in a jurisdiction that grants you additional rights (such as the EU/UK under the GDPR or California under the CCPA), those rights apply and we will honor them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, please email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected in that date; please check back if you want to confirm what’s current.
